Senior Luxembourg funds executive joins Apex Group to accelerate innovation across transfer agency, distribution and digital assets.
Apex Group Ltd. (« Apex Group »), a global financial services provider with over $3.5 trillion in assets serviced, today announced the appointment of Olivier Portenseigne as Global Head of Transfer Agency Products.
Based in Luxembourg, Olivier will lead Apex Group’s global transfer agency product strategy and innovation agenda. He brings hands-on experience across the fund distribution lifecycle, leveraging blockchain technology to connect asset managers, distributors and investors. Building on Apex Group’s existing tokenisation capabilities and established distribution relationships, he will focus on scaling adoption and further connecting investor servicing and distribution across traditional and digital channels.
Olivier, one of the most respected DeFi experts in the industry, brings more than 25 years of experience in fund distribution, transfer agency and financial market infrastructure. He joins Apex Group from FundsDLT, Clearstream’s blockchain-based fund distribution and transfer agency platform, where he served as CEO and worked across the investment funds ecosystem to advance new approaches to fund distribution and transfer agency.
He has extensive experience at the intersection of digital assets, tokenisation and new distribution models for investment funds. His appointment reinforces Apex Group’s continued investment in transfer agency, fund distribution and digital assets, while strengthening Luxembourg’s role as a hub for innovation within the Group.
