Arendt is pleased to announce the appointment of three new Partners: Lorraine Chéry, Błażej Gładysz-Lehmann, Yves Philippart de Foy; and two new associate Partners: Arnaud Huguenel and Alexandra Leininger. Their combined expertise will further strengthen the seamless, end to end support Arendt provides across its complementary legal, regulatory and advisory services.

These appointments underscore Arendt’s commitment to further developing its strategy, which is aimed at providing clients with comprehensive guidance across all facets of their projects, showcasing the breadth of our expertise and support.

Lorraine Chéry – Partner / Employment Law, Pensions & Benefits

Lorraine Chéry is a Partner in the Employment Law, Pensions & Benefits practice of Arendt & Medernach.

As a Partner in the Employment team, she aims to continue and further develop the support provided to clients on all their Luxembourg employment law matters, both in strategic advisory work and in litigation. This support is crucial in a context marked by the increasing complexity of Luxembourg employment law, the intensification of administrative controls, and the rapid evolution of working practices, requiring an approach that is both legal and pragmatic. The objective is to secure employers’ decisions while providing them with solutions tailored to their economic, organisational, and human challenges.

“My ambition is to provide our clients with pragmatic employment law solutions that are tailored to their operational and strategic priorities” explains Lorraine.

Błażej Gładysz-Lehmann – Partner / Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions | Private Equity & Real Estate

Błażej Gładysz-Lehmann is a Partner in the Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions practice of Arendt & Medernach.

He advises institutional and individual investors as well as private equity funds on local and international transactions, reorganisations and mainstream corporate matters relating to the structuring and set up of companies and joint ventures in Luxembourg. His practice increasingly focuses on regulated M&A, supporting clients active in traditional sectors such as funds, banking and insurance, where regulatory scrutiny and transactional complexity are continuing to grow. Błażej has also developed particular expertise in emerging regulated fields, with a focus on the space, security and defence sectors, where he assists clients on the corporate regulatory, authorisation and licensing regimes applicable to these industries.

As Partner, he will contribute to further strengthening Arendt’s transactional capabilities in sectors where regulatory oversight plays a central role, supporting clients in navigating complex deal structures, sector specific constraints and multi stakeholder environments in an increasingly regulated market.

“As industries in Luxembourg – ranging from traditional sectors such as funds, banking and insurance to the emerging space and defence ecosystems – operate under increasing regulatory scrutiny, and as their corporate life and transactions grow more complex, my ambition as Partner is to guide clients confidently through this evolving landscape. I aim to deliver pragmatic, solution-oriented support in regulated corporate and M&A matters, helping clients anticipate strategic, commercial and regulatory considerations while ensuring that transactions are executed efficiently and with clarity” declares Błażej.
