
Luxair is excited to announce that ticket sales for the Summer 2026 season are now open, featuring the most extensive and diverse flight schedule in the airline’s history. Luxair plans to operate a total of 101 destinations throughout 2026, with 97 of them available during the summer season, running from 29 March and 24 October 2026. The summer program includes nine additional routes, carefully selected to meet growing demand for sun destinations, cultural getaways, and off-the-beaten-path adventures, reaffirming Luxair’s role as Luxembourg’s gateway to the world.
Whether you’re planning a beach holiday, a cultural city trip, or a scenic escape, Summer 2026 brings more flexibility, more direct routes, and more reasons to book early. All flights are operated by Luxair aircraft, with frequencies tailored to passenger preferences, offering seamless travel and premium service from booking to arrival. This expanded offer is supported by the gradual introduction of newly ordered aircraft in 2026, enabling greater capacity and the continued development of Luxair’s network.
It reflects the airline’s commitment to creating opportunities and connections, not only for travelers, but also for the communities and regions it serves. New routes support tourism, strengthen regional economies, and foster meaningful exchanges between Luxembourg and its destinations.

Now is the perfect time to look ahead to next summer and secure seats on the most sought-after routes of 2026. Most flights are available for booking as of today, with remaining routes to be released progressively over the coming weeks. Bookings can be made as of now via luxair.lu, luxairtours.lu, or through Luxair’s network of partner travel agencies. Given that the start date is nearly a year away, flights will gradually become available on booking websites. Please note that flight times are still subject to final confirmation and may change.

Spain is one of Luxair’s key markets, and the relaunch of flights to Alicante – last served between 2017 and 2018 – reflects the airline’s intent to further strengthen its Iberian offering. Previously accessible via Madrid through Luxair’s partnership with Iberia, Alicante will now benefit from a direct connection, offering passengers a smoother and more time-efficient journey.
Located on the Costa Blanca, Alicante combines sun, sea, and Spanish heritage. Highlights include Santa Bárbara Castle with its panoramic views, the lively Explanada de España, and easy access to nearby resorts like Benidorm and Altea. With two weekly flights, this vibrant destination is now within even easier reach for both beach lovers and culture seekers.

The new direct service makes travel to the Finnish capital faster and more convenient than ever. Two weekly flights on Mondays and Thursdays provide optimal travel options for both business and leisure trips.
Set on the Baltic Sea, Helsinki is a clean, modern, and design-forward city that comes alive in summer with outdoor cafés, cultural events, and long daylight hours. In response to long-standing demand from the Spanish community, the relaunch of Bilbao opens the door to one of Spain’s most dynamic and distinctive regions. Up to now, Bilbao has been served via connecting flights through Madrid as part of Luxair’s cooperation with Iberia. The upcoming direct flights provide a faster, more convenient option for both leisure and business travelers.
As the cultural capital of northern Spain, Bilbao is known for its striking mix of modern and traditional, from the iconic Guggenheim Museum to the lively Casco Viejo and its famous pintxos. The Basque Country offers a rich cultural identity, world-renowned gastronomy, and easy access to beaches and hiking trails, all within close reach of the city. This route will be operated twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays and ensures again a direct connection between Luxembourg and the Basque Country, a region that combines strong economic relevance with growing appeal as a leisure destination.

Largely untouched by mass tourism, Porto Santo offers cozy hotels, scenic walking trails, and authentic local dining. The route is also expected to resonate with Luxembourg’s Portuguese community, reinforcing strong cultural ties between both regions.

Blending North African tradition with Mediterranean flair, Tunis offers vibrant souks, historic architecture, and easy access to cultural sites such as Carthage and Sidi Bou Said. With its mix of heritage, coastal charm, and growing culinary scene, the city is now comfortably reconnected with Luxembourg twice a week.
