Ministry of the Economy Supports Flibco in its European Growth Journey

During a meeting at the Ministry of the Economy, Minister Lex Delles welcomed Flibco owners Marc and Jos Sales, along with the company’s CEO, Tobias Stüber. The discussion focused on airport mobility and the future development of this important economic sector.

The Luxembourg-based mobility company Flibco is receiving support from the Ministry of the Economy as it pursues its ambitious expansion across Europe. With a clear vision – to digitalize and reshape airport transportation – the company is setting new standards in a sector that has, until now, seen limited digital innovation.

Since 2021, the mobility platform has experienced exceptional growth and has successfully established itself in key European markets. Its success is not only due to a well-thought-out digital concept but also to a modern, internationally oriented management approach: today, the company employs over 100 people from more than 15 countries.

Lex Delles, Minister for the Economy, SMEs, Energy, and Tourism, acknowledged Flibco’s achievements: “As Minister of the Economy and as a Luxembourger, I am proud to see how the startup idea from SLG has evolved into a pan-European mobility provider. We are following the
company’s development with great interest and support the team led by CEO Tobias Stüber
on this promising journey.”

Tobias Stüber, CEO of Flibco, also highlighted the importance of employee commitment:  “The success of recent years is the result of the outstanding dedication of every expert in our team. The fact that our work is increasingly being recognized and supported politically affirms our direction. Luxembourg offers a dynamic environment for innovation – our journey has only just begun.”

In a detailed exchange, Minister Delles and CEO Stüber recently discussed the future of the European mobility industry, the opportunities presented by modern work culture, and Flibco’s further expansion plans into new markets.

This dialogue underscores not only the government’s interest in forward-thinking companies but also the tremendous scaling potential within Flibco. The company recently launched a new premium connection between London Stansted Airport and central London – as the exclusive provider on this route.

With further market entries in preparation and a clear strategic vision, Flibco remains on a growth trajectory – as an innovative flagship of Luxembourg’s dynamic startup and mobility landscape.
