Luxembourg’s motorsport community in the spotlight
Last weekend, ACL brought pure racing action to the 25th International Motor Show in LuxExpo with the launch of the Race X – ACL Champions Edition. The brand-new concept, held in the Motorshow arena, thrilled fans with intense time-trial battles inside powerful LifeLive Cross Cars.
Fast laps, strong competition and a unique challenge
24 top Luxembourg drivers competed for the fastest lap. After Qualifying, the six best talents reached the Final to fight for the 2025 title. The ultimate challenge awaited in the Super Final, where the winner earned the chance to take on Thierry Neuville, the freshly crowned 2024 FIA World Rally Champion.
A successful premiere for ACL and motorsport in Luxembourg
The very first edition ended with a memorable surprise: Justin Flammang secured the first Race X title and celebrated an unexpected victory against Neuville. The presence of the World Champion added international prestige to the event and created an unforgettable highlight for fans and drivers alike.
A strong message for the future of racing in Luxembourg
“Race X gives our local talents a stage to prove what they can do. But nobody expected a young underdog to beat the World Champion in front of a packed crowd. What a weekend for Luxembourg motorsport.” – Yves Faber, Head of ACL Sport and creator of Race X.
