Luxair has proudly represented Luxembourg as its national airline since 1961, building a close and respectful bond with the Grand Ducal Family over the decades.
As the country prepares for the historic Trounwiessel on 3 October, Luxair is launching a series of initiatives to celebrate this occasion together with its passengers and partners.
The first visible sign will be a dedicated commemorative sticker that is being applied on aircraft across Luxair’s fleet throughout September ahead of the celebrations. On board, travellers will also discover a
special collector’s edition of the Inflight magazine, fully dedicated to the Trounwiessel. In addition, passengers will be able to enjoy a celebratory beer from Brasserie Simon and specially labelled Crémants from Poll-Fabaire and Alice Hartmann during their flight, while an exclusive Crémant edition from Bernard-Massard will be served in the Luxair Lounge.
On the day of the Trounwiessel itself, all Luxair passengers will receive a celebratory gift, and the occasion will be marked on board with sweet treats from Ferrero and Maison Oberweis.
Firmly rooted in the community, Luxair is honoured to mark this historic event together with the country
